English Diary 森へお散歩 20220415 #2-64

Hello everyone. Thank you for coming back to my channel. This is Nomadonomado, English Diary for the 14th of April, 2022. I am still in England and the local time is 8:10, as I am speaking.

Yesterday my husband, his brother and I went for a long walk in the New Forest which is a protected area.

You can see the natural landscapes there, and also there are lots of horses that freely walk around.

It has been dry for the last few days, but some parts of the forest were still wet. It’s basically wet almost all time of the year according to my brother in law.

He and his wife used to live in that area so they know about the forest very well.

We passed a few muddy spots where our shoes got reasonably messy. But there was a larger spot that was completely muddy.

When I walked into the muddiest area I was trapped in. When I tried to walk away from there my shoe came off and I left it in the mud.

My husband tried to go avoiding the muddy patch but I was trying to go a shortcut which was not a good idea.

So I had to wait for my husband to rescue it. Of course, my husband’s shoes got completely in the mud.

Anyway, it was a good walk. We walked for three hours and nipped into a pub on the way home where we had one pint of beer each.

It was yesterday. And today is Easter Friday, we are going to watch another football match. We will take the train at 12:45 to get to Bournemouth and watch the home game. Our team is called AFC Bournemouth. They are in the second position in the championship so they must win today.

It will be another exciting game, but I will talk about it later.
