The Last English Diary 20220531 #2-107

Hello everyone. Thank you for coming back to my channel. My name is Mai, and this is Nomadonomado English Diary for the 31st of May 2022.

Today is the last day of May. Time goes quickly! I have a few days to stay in Japan, and I should slowly prepare to return to Canada.

I have checked what I need to do before entering Canada. It’s not so complicated because I have been fully vaccinated. I only need to submit my vaccine proof onto their specific app for travellers.

I am going to go back to Canada this Saturday. I want to buy some more things to bring back to Canada, and I have to pack them up, but I have to be careful not to exceed the weight limit.

One thing that I miss about Japan is having a deep bath. We have a bathtub in the house in Canada, but it’s Western-style and not as deep as the one in Japan. So, I like having a bath in Japan and yesterday evening I went to a public bath with my sister and niece.

They had a natural hot spring. It was not very large, but they have different types of Jacuzzis and a small open-air bath. It was nice to have a hot bath in deep bathtubs. Also, I was happy to see lots of people still use the public bath.

By the way, I have something that I’d like to announce. I have been posting my diary in speaking English on this channel, but from tomorrow, I will move this English diary to another channel of mine, Everyday English Note. In this channel, Nomadonomado, I will switch to speaking Japanese only and talk about writing or marketing, something more about my work and business.

It was not that I changed the concept of my channel. In the first place, I started English Diary because I went to England for a kind of my holiday. And I feel that I should focus on talking about my work now that I am going back to Canada in a few days, which means I am finishing my holiday.

After tomorrow, I am going to talk more about my work, writing and marketing online, and making money through the internet, mainly as a freelance writer. So, if you are interested in online business, you will enjoy more this channel, hopefully.
